If you do get the Bus Depot version, be prepared to lay out both your old tent and the new one prior to installing it to make sure it fits. I neglected to do that and the one I bought from the BD last year would not fit all the way around. I have gaps in the corners. Not sure if they'll take it back now, but I did read on the Samba that they got a bad batch of tents last year so maybe they will swap it out. YMMV. Can anyone tell me about their experience with the $249 version? Especially the install. Good fit for an experienced installer? Or problems? I'm on a very tight budget and looking to make the best I can out of the money available. |
