Dan,

My understanding is that you CAN get a Bosch one for a decent price BUT minus the long wiring harness for the Vanagon. I bought one from VanCafe and spliced it into the existing harness . This was sold that way to save costs but IT is the correct Bosch model. I'd have a look at their site and see if they still offer this option.
