Subject: Heard from John Rodgers last night--not good news
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8

John Rodgers wrote me a very brief email to tell me he had had a stroke on his right side. He has moved from Birmingham to a smaller town to the south (Montevallo, for those who know it) so his son can help with his recovery. The stroke affected his right side and he cannot write and can barely type. He is walking again but unsteady. The doctor tells John he could be almost good as new in 6 months.

"Much to learn over," he says.

I will let know know more if there is more. I am going to call him today.

Jim
