Emico is decent quality. Put one on my wife's Corrado recently. It went from way over on an e-test to squeaky clean. Took off a cheap ceramic aftermarket. Now there's a scam....many exhaust shops will offer to replace your converter. They sell you a no name Chinese knock off for $150, another $150 to install. Then they sell your (often) perfectly good cat to the scrap man for another $80 bux. 2 years later your back for another $150 one. The original ones are full of heavy metals, and normally don't die unless you have a tuning problem. Its the first thing shops try to sell you around here when you fail an e-test. Not a tune up. My other Corrado has almost 400K with the factory cat still.
