I'd love to hear what people are doing as well! Most improvements we've made to the Ezy Awning over the years have been based on customers' suggestions. That being said, in case you're not aware we already do offer a couple of alternatives to using your rain gutter. We sell Velcro straps that can wrap around your roof rack and the awning's rain gutter pole, holding the awning against the roof rack: http://www.busdepot.com/VSTRAP If the Velcro straps won't suit your needs, and you have a poptop camper, we offer a different strap kit for Eurovan campers that also fits Vanagon campers. It attaches to the metal rail that holds the poptop canvas to the van, but requires that the poptop be raised when using the awning: Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc. www.busdepot.com |
