In my Syncro doka, the tank will have the pump shut off w/ about 4-5
gallons capacity unfilled. I top it off to the same place, the top of the
filler neck, so I get a consistent amount of gas in the tank for
calculating mileage.
In Maine, we don't have the vapor sealing pump handles, or highly skilled
gas jockeys to mess up my system.
YMMV!
Mr. BZ-flame suit on!
