After having traveled with and without "Rescue Tape" I would not leave home without some especially where you will be headed as a ruptured Vanagon hose in Baja could be a challenge, one that "Rescue Tape" can handle. We drove 1500 miles through Arizona, Nevada, and California on a taped hose before installing a new one.
