Mine never had the under vehicle tank, being a converted tin top to a Westie kitchen...I put a 5 gallon tank in the cabinet forward of the fridge, with some holes through the floor to allow any leaking propane to go out... I've had those hard mounted under van tanks before and they aren't very handy. You have to take the whole vehicle to the propane place and hope they have a way to fill it. With the semi-portable 5 gallon tank I keep a full one around and when I get ready to go somewhere for a trip I swap in the full one...it's good for at least 3 weeks of cooking and fridge. I re fill the spare at my convenience and I am ready for another trip with a known full tank.
