I see lots of Priuses towing light trailers here.

The Mazda5 micro-van is not supposed to tow anything in North America, but the UK version of that vehicle has a 3000 pound towing capacity! I wonder if the UK Prius also has a tow rating. Of course, the Europeans are both more enthusiastic about towing with small vehicles, and a whole lot more careful in doing so, than many North Americans.

The Prius owner's book specifies that it is not to be used for towing. There are no caveats given. mcneely > > ---- raceingcajun <raceingcajun@COMMUNICOMM.COM> wrote: > > http://hiconsumption.com/2014/08/go-easy-lightweight-trailer-sylvan-sport/ > > > > I didn't dig deep enough to find the price..........but I'll bet it not as > > lite as the trailer! :>) > > > > Howard > > -- > David McNeely
