Weird stuff like this is always caused by bad grounds. When the ground connections are broken current flows in very strange ways trying to find a path back to the battery. Start with the ground strap on the battery and make sure it's in good condition, then go under the dash where there is a ground tree with multiple connections. It's on the left side above the fuse block (unscrew and lower it after disconnecting the battery ground strap). Corrosion here is probably the culprit. You can often fix this by pulling off the connectors and cleaning things up. You may need a new one though: http://www.van-cafe.com/home/van/page_1601_140/ground-tree.html Most, if not all, ground wires are brown, check them all! Ground connections in the light sockets are also often corroded. Have fun! When the key is turned-on, the passenger side turn signals front and back stay on all the time. The driver's side works fine. With the key off, the emergency flashers work, but the brake, oil and battery light also flash. Turn the key with the previous situation and the emergency flashers stop working and has a steady glow. Any help would be appreciated! Jamie Auch |
