Hi Ken, No I didn't try fishing the pond. I haven't been taking my rod(s) with me on these summer trips for some reason or another. The pond is on its way to being a bog, maybe just another 5000 years or so :) the margins are sphagnum moss. Heard frogs there at night, always wonder how they get up to those ponds, it's at about 700 m elevation. Cheers Alistair
