There is a guy, an expert machinist, on the samba that does very nice TB rebuilds, with bearings I think. I can't recall his name, but I think he advertises in the classifieds. That would be the way to go. But if you just wanted plastic bushings, then yes, it could be done at my skill level. Alistair
