Thanks for the help, guys. I will check out those friction reducers. That GoWesty site is quite helpful. I got some info from the archives, but I'm still wondering if there is a torque value assigned to those nylock nuts. Anyone out there want to venture a guess?

I would like to remove it to do the clean up, but if I remember the last time I removed a swivel, it didn't swivel as well when I replaced it. I could not find any reference to it in Bentley. Is there a torque value for the nuts, or a way to tighten them to a certain point? I am also trying to decide if lithium or moly grease would be best to grease the swivel mechanism. While I'm at it, what about the seat rails? Any info would be helpful. > > Dave B. |
