Hi All,

No luck looking in the Bentley manual for what B stands for in VW wiring parlance. As someone stated earlier, a schematic would be helpful if one could be found.

Also, it looks like the ECU has at least one microprocessor on it. To manufacture replacements, the firmware/software would be needed as a listing or reverse engineered from the non volatile memory. There might be some copyright issues to resolve. All doable, but not trivial.
