Neil,

Every time I look at my van I cringe because of the outstanding bodywork I have to do to it. Well that and the skinny 14" wheels and tires. I'm not holding my end up in the tough looking syncro game. But I have stopped the rust and I will get around to prettying it up someday. The thing is, I scratch the heck out of the van every time I go on a trip. How would I feel taking it out in the woods with pristine bodywork? Would I feel worse after the alders whip the sides of the van or would I be reluctant to go down those roads?

Te darned things are meant to be used and who you use them is your own business :)
