Not that it is your issue but on the back of the indicator is a dial that
can change the voltage readings of the indicator lights and where they came
on. It is very sensitive so you will need to let your battery slowly
discharge and then check voltage and adjust the lights to match what
voltage you want them to show - Yellow basically, not sure how much red is
below that.

Others may have more information on how the lights work and at what voltage
stock was that might give a better picture.
