Hey Don.

Knowledge is my quest. That and determining if a missing ground wire, and what should have been B+ to ECU 54 incorrectly wired to 15 ignition buss, caused this issue over some thousands of miles.

I got more than 3 years out of that ECU. And yes. $25 (Aberdeen WA parts yard) or $55 (parts yard near Union OR) is not much for an ECU. As an aside, if my original ECU was damaged prior to installing it, I'm impressed that it lasted this long.
