Yes, Blackstone Labs is the place.  They have done enough Vanagons to have a
"normal range" column for this engine.  Kits are free.  I've tested my "new"
'85 at each oil change now twice, and its showing improvement in wear metals
and silica (originally from dry Eastern Oregon) with Mobil 1 15w-40 and the
Mobile 1 oil filter.
