So the local sheriff would like me to get my license plate lights working. Changed bulbs to no avail. Turns out sockets were a rusty mess. Got new ones, but there's no juice at the ends of the wires. There are 12 volts at the connector T2i in the wire distribution box. So I'm thinking there is a break in the wire(s), probably where they are routed out the back of the van into the light socket housing boxes. Has anybody popped these out? I'm thinking it would be easier to route new wires with them removed, plus there's a bit of rust around them that I'd like clean up. From what I can see/feel there are two clips on the sides and one on the bottom. I've only got two hands and I'm a little afraid to get a helper. They will probably be even more likely than myself to break these rare parts. Thanks in advance. Steve 87 Syncro GL Sent from my iPhone |
