Hey not to sound like a jerk, but that electronic gizmo won't tell you much about your injector. You need a quality scope and the ability to comprehend the waveform. Barring that, the shotgun approach is your best option. Change parts until it runs right. Assuming you have spares.. And pattern test the injectors outside the manifold if you can. BTW- Even if you had the injectors serviced, an injector coil could still fail at any time. I have seen a lot of this on 90's vintage cars recently.

Also don't forget these crusty wiring harnesses are at the fail stage in life. Don't take anything for granted on a car this old.

Engine sounds and shakes like it has a dead cylinder. I had new plugs installed and went thru the entire ignition system and all ran perfect - idle and at 3000 rpm per Tencent. Even put in new ignition wires because testing them with a timing light can be faulty. My Shoebox Electronic gizmo shows the ECU fuel injector pulse proper - but tells me nothing about each injector. The injectors were cleaned, serviced and tested Cruzin a year or so ago. Seemed OK. I have'nt pulled and test them yet for lack of seals. So it is yet to be done.

Except for the injectors, I am stumped! Any one have any ideas or suggestions. I'm all ears!

Also - could anyone tell me the proper plug length to be screwed in to a cylinder head.

Thanks

John the Gimp
