I've owned an '80 AC camper, '82 Diesel camper, an '88 GL (w/all power options) and an '89 Bluestar (w/all power options); the comparisons hands down favor the '86 and up models, with a strong bias towards '89 and newer versions. Better brakes, bigger engines, power steering, power options, more modern interiors...in other words, it's entirely subjective, but naturally my opinion trumps all others
