The rear hatch tent is also a great value. At , I believe $69 , it is a steal of a deal. We love the added dry space it offers. We use it for a showering/dressing area as we store our clothes in the rear cabinet. Also offered in two colors to match early and late interiors. Another great job by the BusDepot !

Designing the Add-A-Room was a labor of love for me, as I've used side tents for years. (We are a family of five camping in a Westy, so a little extra space is much needed.) I tried to incorporate the best aspects of the various side tents I've owned over the years, while adding a few extras such as the side walls turning into awnings. > > Speaking of that, Bryan, since you mentioned having extra poles for turning the side walls into awnings, I assume you have our first-generation Add-A-Room. The current generation uses lightweight fiberglass poles for that purpose, which take up virtually no space and also dome the roofs to help shed water. You can see this in the second-from-the-top picture on our Add-A-Room page: < http://www.busdepot.com/details/addaroom/>. (The white things leading to the ground are just guy ropes, not poles.). You can buy these fiberglass poles separately to upgrade your first-generation Add-A-Room to a second-generation one. Near the bottom of that page, look for part numbers ADDAWN1 and ADDAWN2. > > Unfortunately we sold out of our summer shipment of Add-A-Rooms but we have more coming in mid December. Orders placed now will automatically bill and ship when in. If anyone attending Buses By The Depot this weekend was planning on buying one to take home, see me and I'll work out a shipping discount for you since you can't pick it up. > > Ron Salmon > The Bus Depot, Inc. > www.busdepot.com >
