I just stopped by Van Cafe in Santa Cruz, and they told me they have these cables coming from Buslab in Berkeley. So apparently they're more available now. When my cables arrive from Bus Depot and Van-Again, I'll take them to Van Cafe, so we can compare them. I'm told the newer valves require more force, so if Van Cafe's cables are heavier, I'll use them. My cable kinked after Peninsula Automotive replaced the valve, so I wonder whether that's why my cable decided to kink after that.
