If only one brake switch or wires to it, has failed, the other switch should still light up the brake lights. I don't have a Bentley in front of me, but would suggest looking at the grounds to these lights. If memory serves, the ground wires run to the black junction box in the engine bay. Maybe a dirty connector there? And if memory serves, some tail lights might share a ground. Neil.
