I'll offer this much. I believe the 85+ doors have a shorter length.

I have an '84, and I just measured the length (outside edge to outside edge) at window height. 47 1/4".

I'm sure someone has a definitive answer, or at least can measure their 85+ door for comparison.

Can we tell by looking it's the right door? I'm glad to drive two hourseach way to pick it up, but I'd rather not find out it's different frommy door.

Would it help to post pictures of my door? Can someone briefly describeone or two key differences between the earlier and later doors for me tolook at?
