Geneva (and Mike) - I've used corrugated plastic to replace various cardstock, sawdust and glue, pressboard panels. you'd recognize this corrugated product as the 'vote for ...' signage at the side of the road. they've held up well enough that I've been meaning to go to the post office for the sheets of the stuff they use to protect sacked mail from pallet nails. the AB$ panels are plug-n-play whereas the corrugated will have to be hand worked. I'd like to replace all of the interior panels with this material and hope for added sound and thermal insulation. h t h mike

Hello folks-

What is your suggestion for LIGHTWEIGHT and sturdy replacement?
