That's a good idea to let you attach hold downs at don't fit under the coachman loop type stock brackets. I installed taller brackets a few years ago, marine type stainless fair lead type things. But before I did that I used a trick that I think either Al Knoll or Loren Busch posted. And that was to run a continuous length of para cord or the like through the loops, all around the luggage rack. Ends tied off pulling the loop as taught as you can. Now you can attach hold down hooks to the cord rather than the stock loops. Alistair
