On my recent purchase vanagon the windows are full of hard water spots... usually I use the following steps to get rid of them when the water spots are new - Windex - Invisible glass - Vinegar but his this time the water spot stay etched to the glasses because they are too old. a friend, professional car detailer came to the rescue.. - get a mild grade polishing compound like white Turtle Wax - steel wool pads, grade 0000 put the polishing compound on the steel wool pad and work in back and forth motion. spray some water on it when the polishing compound starts to dry, add some more... and lot elbow grease.. finishing of with your favorite glass cleaner.. I was skeptic at first thinking that the steel wool will scratch the glass... NOPE.. it works very well try it and let everyone know... |
