No, the X relay works the other way around from how its name might lead you to believe. The relay is off unless the key is turned to the run position. The X contact in the ignition switch then turns ON the X relay so everything powered by the relay will work only when key is in run position. Maybe should be called "load enabling relay" instead. That is what it literally does when it is activated.

Its a small thing but I wish he would have listed the headlights first to make it clearer that the X relay isn't involved in them.

X - power output for headlights and to turn on load reduction X relay, on only when key is in run position.
