I've tried Jim's suggestion. It works well.

With 25 miles on a used serviced injector, maybe the issue went unnoticed at that time? Maybe it was poorly serviced? And regardless of occasional starts, over 5 years fuel pressure obviously leaks down. I don't know enough of injector construction but would guess that the moving parts inside could dry out, gum up and stop moving.

Back flush injectors?
