Subject: need help w/85 brake light circuit
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Took my 85 Westy in for coolant hose junction/bleeder valve change and got home and found there are no brake lights. Fuse is good and the cig lighter and other stuff on this fuse works. Bulbs are good and I haven't checked the master cyl switches (yet) but don't believe them to be the no lights cause. What I'm needing help with is how to check from the bulb wires back towards the power from the fuse and where the light socket is grounded to find a possible power interruption. Is there something inside the black box that the harness passes through that I should check? All other lights are working. The archives mostly cover the switches at the MC but little on what to do in the back. Any help or suggestions or a tour guide around the electrics in back would be appreciated. Spencer 85 Westy
