Subject:      two wire connectors...Proper polarity?

  I tried for a few minutes to get the answer off the general
Internet...but it was unclear, there on the Net...so I ask you here....Is
there an accepted way to wire those two wire universal connector plugs?
The ones are bullet connectors that are configured to only plug together
one way....


  I have now done some wiring in various systems we use, with those plugs
as part of the deal....A Battery Tender to keep the motos charged, some
other electrical stuff, some connections between solar panels and
batteries, etc.....    Some of my 'on the spot' connections were done one
way, some the other....I wanna fix that and go over all my stuff so I can
plug everything into everything else.
   So....Is there an accepted way to wire that type a circuit?...Or do I
just choose a way and do all my own connections that way?
