I'm futzing about with my PW regulator today, and found that after cleaning and lubing the motor, the regulator was binding. I opened it up, cleaned out the goop and rust, and then put it back together. It's binding less, but still too much. On a whim, I slacked off the cover screws and found that it freed all the way up again. Has anyone experimented with installing a slightly thicker cover gasket to put less tension on the cable reel? -- Casey |
