Out of curiosity why such a tall tire? Even with taller springs there will still be occasions where the suspension will be worked enough that you can still get the tire rub unless you also install stops to keep the springs from compressing. As you lift the front end you will affect the castor angle so that will be part of the alignment. Be very careful of the rears. The factory springs have those small tails on the end. They are now breaking off. Between that and the spring supports rusting-wearing out on the rear control arms the springs can slip out. Usually they will get caught and wedged on the shocks but if one does slide out the driver behind you will not be happy. Consider getting new springs. Syncro.org has supplied some good springs for the 2WD's for me.

Wanting a little more fender well clearance for my 225/65/16's when the van is heavily loaded. The OE springs have alost 300k on them, so buying the 85 springs off ebay seemed like the logical thing to do. Are there any additional suspension/alignment changes that need to take place when I add these springs?? I'm also going ot swap the PS rack for a manual duringthe same procedure and replace the upper ball joints, so an alignment is pretty much a given.

TIA
