I won't argue, but I have to admit that after about 500,000 miles in a '61, '67, '76 and finally an '81, I can drive my '87 Syncro Westy from Boulder to Moab, or maybe even California--and never think to use the arm rests. Even seeing my wife use the passenger seat ones!

That's about me, not arm rests. When I do think to use them, I REALLY like them.... ;-)
