We had our van shipped to Daryl's in Duvall, WA late November of 2011 so it would be there for our road trip in December. The transport company delivered it to a tow company outside Duvall so they did not have to try and get their transporter through the narrow streets in town and the wrecker delivered it right to Daryl's shop. The downside is that it was sub-zero in Anchorage when they went to load it on the truck and the oil cooler O'ring did not survive the start up at that temperature with 20W50 oil. Daryl or more likely Matt had to fix it when it arrived as the other choice, fixing it first then shipping, would have meant the van would not have been there when we arrived. I had warned them not to start it without first warming it up in the cold but they did not listen.

Mark in AK - wishing I was on the road again
