I have a Westy, but either way it's best to have a helper and a small floor-type jack propped up on blocks with a board on top to both lower it and re-install it while you fiddle with getting the bolts back in. It's best to have the helper free to work the jack so he/she can wiggle the unit around until you get the bolts in. It's heavy, but this method worked well for me.

hi all,

'90 Carat... I want to remove the rear top plastic cover of the AC evaporator... to clean it and replace the temp sensor...

I removed the side panels, the rear plastic screws...and there's the 4 bolts on each side...

now if I remove the last 4 bolts on each side... will the condenser and everything will crash down..? should I put something to hold it before removing the last 4 bolts?

thanks in advance

dan
