I have the VDO kit from Van Café: http://www.van-cafe.com/home/van/page_362_263/oil-pressure-gauge-kit.html. It uses a T fitting so you can use the VDO sender and the stock sender together. I have this gauge and a voltage gauge mounted on top of the dash. I can send a photo if you like.

I think every Vanagon should have an oil pressure gauge.

Wiring looks ok now. I'll check again tomorrow when the sun comes out. Where can I get a good oil pressure gauge for my van it on that is electrically operated. Not too familiar with brand names. Hopefully I can find a kit that looks nice below the dash.Stewart Warner or VDO units?
