I prefer to work from the trailer then a cube truck splicing fiber. We have both but are slowly phasing out the cube trucks. Its also nice to have my bucket truck there to grab the splice if its in the air. Our trailers have propane generators and its easy keeping a spare bottle then having to watch the fuel tank. They also make less noise except when using the interior heat and the heat gun on the adhesive shrink wrap. That really pushes the generators limit. Vanagon content...I used my 87 Westy to tow it once when my truck broke down. It was 3:00 am and couldnt get a second tow truck or another employee to grab it. Only issue was having to cut a 2"x2" solid piece of steel off the pintle adapter. Couldnt get it deep enough in my Vanagons hitch to get the pin in. Took six 18volt dewault batteries and more than a dozen blades. That sawzall earned its keep that morning.
