Best shop tool I've seen was a shopping cart with the basket removed and a Harley Davidson motorcycle seat mounted on the base. Built by a friend who builds sprint racers, it was very comfortable and easily scooted around the garage floor and put him right at the right height for much of the work he did. I sure could use one for working on my van . . .
