Simple Green works on my vehicle to clean things up. Leaves nothing much
behind, not super shiny and not at all slick. I have used Armor All a few
times on some rigs and while it looks good on the black plastic and
rubber-substitute parts, it isn't great around dust and it is slippery on
the surfaces.
The Safari Van I recently got for my work/slick roads (Poor Man's
Syncro) vehicle...It came with the luxury leather interior, six captains
chairs and a bench seat, all Dove Gray leather in fine shape, but whatever
the original owner (and he had this van for almost 300k miles, took
excellent care of it) treated the leather upholstery with....it STANK. It
smelled like leather, but leather on steroids! For the first few month I
owned this vehicle I couldn't stand the interior stink until I'd left all
the windows down, the doors open and the Gorge summer winds finally took
out the stink of leather...Some folks think that musky leathery smell is so
....cool. I've had other leather upholstered vehicles that actually
smelled similar to this, but not so strong....Maybe it was just the high
number of leather seats, but I think the first owner enhanced the leather
smell of this one somehow...it was stronger than I like....It's OK now..
