It's possible. Just lock the driver's door from the inside and go out the slider and lock it. . . That's why I installed power locks with alarm on my '85.

Don't get me started. We once had a chrysler minivan that ALWAYS locked all the doors if the motor was running after a minute or so. I had AAA on speed dial. I'm told it's a feature. It's much harder to lock yourself out of a vanagon. Is it possible? I love all the places to hide a key box, too.
