when preparing to depart for an extended drive, the location is quite inconvenient. One might even say the location creates a safety hazard, as it makes it less likely that folks will check these fluids regularly.
Actually, I find the location quite convenient. I can even pop the instrument cover off & do a quick check while stopped for a traffic light. Try doing that with an underhood location. It's perfect for the obsessive/compulsive among us.
