Also... you can recharge it off the cigarette lighter after you start your van!

I started my diesel twice off of once charge from dead, and diesels take a lot. After the second crank, I pushed the button to check the five LED status indicators and it was down to three. How many times it would have cranked I don't know. On my new beetle, I cranked it once and it did not go down at all.
So, maybe eight, of the right vehicle, maybe not eight. But one will save your butt, and that's why I got it.
