I still am not able to figure out what all the Round vs Rectangular HeadLight Fuss is all about ~ I live behind a pair of 69YrOld eyes & have always loved to have LotsOfLight on the road in front of me @ night so have always run UpGraded HeadLights whenever possible ~ But my 90Westy seems to do just fine with its Orig'Rectangulars fitted with SylvaniaSilverStar HighBeams & SylvaniaSilverStarUltra LowBeams & Relays ~ & ~ If you are thinking that I may not know what VanagonRounds can do, I also had, until recently, an 83.5 with H4s & S'S'S's ~ & there was recently an 85Westy in my DriveWay that I was doing some work on for a friend & its S'A'Grill HeadLights TrulySucked compared to my 90Westys Rectangulars ~ Every chance I get to test mine against a set of Rounds I take it, & that happens quite often, & have not yet found any reason to switch ~ ORR ~ DeanB On 14 Nov , 2014, at 12:10 PM, Steve Williams wrote: > Hi, > > The front grill on my 91 Westy got broken recently.
