I was the one who suggest it, but I thought later that it might be better to put a a video like ken does, OR to make ourselves available/on call to arrange a time to do a FaceTime call. The good thing about FaceTime is that is allows the viewer(s) the chance to interact, ask questions, or to go back over something they missed. A FaceTime video is also a lot less work than producing a video.

The bad thing is that you are probably going to get whammed with data charges if you go on for very long.

I would do this, for sure, and as I mentioned John Rodger is trying to get up here this week to attack his heater motor problem in my driveway. We will take every shortcut to getting the dash out, pull the motor, get it in my studio on the table and whack it open with a hammer and chisel and swap the motors out. I can "take orders" on a FaceTime call to try it out, for maybe a few, but the callers will have to be on standby a little bit because I don't know if John is going to make it up here for sure this week. We would probably do a series of calls every 10 minutes or so to show the salient features of the process, not the removal of every bolt and screw.

But, again, all that notwithstanding, I would be happy to be of whatever service that I could using FaceTime. Too bad I didn't think of this before as in the last two years I have upgraded the bushings and springs and brakes all around the car, I have converted to a turbo-diesel engine, I have relayed about everything in the car but the horn, painted the car, replaced window rubber, etc and a host of other things I am not ever likely to do again (and probably couldn't have been done with a camera in one hand, either). But I can think of lots of things I could show from time to time, and would be glad to go put the camera on anything I could explain. Just remember that I no longer dwell in the gasoline world.

Jim
