In that case, it should be under warranty as long as you had a professional shop install it (and can prove it). If you did, you should go back to them to sort this out first.

Van Café has all the bits to hook it up, but that's way too cold to be working on it.

Good luck!

Thanks your input another famous project for me.

My engine is a brand new GOWESTY 2.2 4000 miles on it. 2 wd. Where should I get a hose and T fittings with the correct threads that match the OP gauge etc? NAPA? 14 gauge wire. I think what I need today is a nice warm garage to,work in. 12 out now and my barn dirt floor sure looks cold. 😞

I was told it had instruction on how to install the kit for my 1988 vanagon Westy. Opened the carton and well yes what it only had was a generic version from VDO not specific for my vehicle stuck inside the plastic cover. I am at a lost on how to install it. I had a great article from Ken at vanagain.com but got it after the fact of ordering the kit. He has this really nice rubber extension in his kit. To bad it didn't see this first. Can't return electrical stuff Has anyone install one of these VDO electrical gauges ? >> >> Dennis Jowell >> Scotch Hollow Farm >> >
