Jason, Congratulations!!!!! Very well done, indeed. I soloed on September 25, 1980 in San Carlos, CA. KSQL I went on to get my Private and then my A&P and IA. I've been blessed to have been able to go to the airport every day since. Airports are the best places on earth. I've met some of the smartest, most helpful, humble people in my life. I've been involved with corporate aviation for about 35 years, the last 11 with Harbor Freight Tools Flight Department. I own a 1952 Mooney M-18C and still fly regularly. If you ever get to Southern California, I work at Van Nuys Airport, KVNY, I'll take you out to lunch. I've owned my 1990 Westfalia full camper since new and have put about 105,000 camping miles on it. In fact, I've been an exclusive VW owner for 30 + years. These days, the Vanagon is the only gas powered rig I own. The rest are all TDI's. Again, very well done on your solo accomplishment. Kind regards, Mike Magnani
