Hi folks,
Great tips,
not being able to search the web sites easily I didn’t know venders had them.
As for attaching it. This is a good task for a blind person. I use a piece of cardboard or thick paper and follow the technique others described poking holes through the cardboard and cutting out the template around the door pocket. then position on the door panel and drill through the wholes in the cardboard. Tricks like this work great for blind do it yourselfers.
Thanks everyone for the great info and tips on this question. I may end up getting two as my driver’s side is ok but showing some char cracks in the screw area plastic. I used slightly over sized screws when I re attached it a year ago and so far it is holding up. Still the one time a friend drives the van and decides the pocket would make a good door handle it will rip apart.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and again I truly appreciate the gift that is this list.
