I agree, 80 would be nice, but I've never seen that, even in the freshly
rebuilt 2.1 I had in 2000.  I think there is a pressure relief valve that
opens around 60 psi, but I don't know for sure.  Apparently, the rod big
ends go slightly oval as they age, and also increase in radius as they heat
up, causing the drop in pressure, at least according to the production
rebuilder that did my rebuild in 2000.
